Item description
RIDERS TO THE STARS DONOVAN'S BRAIN by Curt Siodmak ( Robert Smith) Ballantine Books Popular Library, 1st printing 1st PL Eagle Books printing, 1953 1961 Condition: Very Good+ to Near Fine Very Good- RIDERS is a Ballantine original based on Curt Siodmak's screenplay (movie released in 1953) and novelized by Robert Smith. The back cover has 3 stills from the film. Light cover corner crease (slightly affecting some page corners), small red stain on back cover, store stamp on first page, light page toning, else excellent tightly bound copy. BRAIN was also filmed the same year (as well as 3 other times), though tie-in is minimal on 1st page. Moderate spine lean, reading crease, light external wear and page toning, but pages are uneven, suggesting the spine was reglued (though binding is secure). No writing or markings.
