Lot 13 Same Glass Button Diff Size Dritz and similar items

A Set of Thirteen (13) Mint Green, Glass, Dritz Scovill Buttons, Style 61000, Tunnel Shanks. Set consists of 5 cards of 2 buttons to a card (total 10 buttons) in size 44 or 1 1/8 inch and 1 card of 3 buttons to a card (total 3 buttons) in size 36 or 7/8 inch). Made in Holland, no date stated. Still on original cards. In 1969, the Dritz company is purchased by Scovill and not resold until 1980. Judging by the card graphics and change in pricing, some of these buttons are late 1969/early 1970s and others are mid 1970s. Button Description The buttons are unused and in excellent condition and still attached to their display cards with heavy thread. The buttons are cold to the touch, click when struck and have no visible mold mark. I am listing them as glass. The cards have age, bent corners, creases and remains of old price sticker. The buttons are a little lighter than the color of the photograph. Bought the vintage sewing pattern, found some appropriate fabric and now you’re looking for the right button? Or, perhaps you are trying to repair an existing vintage garment? The right vintage button can make all the difference! All buttons are vintage items and sold...AS IS. Buttons comes in a zip 2 mil. plastic bag and are shipped in an envelope with a cardboard insert or in a padded mailer depending upon the buttons. The zip bag is great for storing the buttons!
