Item description
WINESBURG, OHIO by Sherwood Anderson Penguin Books (U.S.), First Mass Market pb printing, 1946 Condition: About Very Good This somewhat groundbreaking work of American literature, subtitlled "A Group of Tales of Ohio Small-Town Life", was first published in hardback in 1919. This is the first mass market edition. The lamination is basically intact, but there are lamination wrinkles (some qualify as light creases as they're noticeable on the inside cover); some modest wear on the extremities; spine breaks at the beginning end of the text, but all pages remain quite firmly bound; page edges are color faded and the pages are age toned. But the spine is straight and uncreased and there are no markings.
