This is the first prose novel (no interior illustrations) about the Avengers. It was written by comics veteran Otto Binder with an introduction by Stan Lee. Featured are Captain America, Iron Man, The Wasp, Goliath and Hawkeye. (The cover illustration by Robert McGinnis inexplicably substitutes two other Avengers for Iron Man and The Wasp.) 122 pages. Modest wear at spine ends, light front cover reading crease short light crease at top, a light page corner crease, light wear on cover corners edges, some darkening on inside covers, brief name written on first page, no other writing. The binding is firm pages only lightly toned.
