M.J. HUMMEL GALLERY "BEHIND THE FENCE" CERAMIC POSTCARD * Great Baby Shower Gift * Brand New With No Box This is the M.J. Hummel collectible ceramic postcard entitled "Behind The Fence". This plaque shows two little boys peeking over a fence. A specially painted picture on a white ceramic plaque with gold trim. It measures approx. 3 3/8" x 4" x 1/8". It comes with an easel to display the ceramic card. This is an authentic reproduction of the original work of art painted by Sister M.I. Hummel during the time she spent in the convent from 1931 to 1946. (this is the inscription on the back of the postcard). This piece makes more than a wonderful gift to a new mother at her baby shower to be displayed in the baby's room. Hand painted in China. This piece has no cracks or chips,and is in brand new condition.
