Non-woven sponges are ideal for general-purpose cleaning and dressing wounds. Ideal for wound dressing, prepping and scrubbing, and general-purpose cleansing. Highly absorbent. Less linting.

Gauze Sponges are made from 100% Woven Cotton while Non-Woven Gauze Sponges are made from a Poly Rayon Blend. This means that Gauze Sponges are coarser and used in more general applications where a wound might need to be cleaned, debrided or packed.
3.Is woven or non-woven gauze better?
Non-woven gauze is stronger, bulkier, and softer than woven gauze and produces less lint.
