About the Artist Paul Beauvoir was influenced in design by the professional hand embroidery of his mother. Mr. Bauvoir is another by-product of the Centre d'Art and later the Foyer des Arts Plastiques. His impressionistic work is characterized by lines of definite demarcation with backgrounds of color (particularly yellow). His works have suffered in value from over-production of the same style, same subject, and same colors.
