“The Beach Boys” is a celebration of the legendary band that revolutionized pop music, and the iconic, harmonious sound they created that personified the California dream, captivating fans for generations and generations to come. The documentary traces the band from humble family beginnings and features never-before-seen footage and all-new interviews with The Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, David Marks, Bruce Johnston and Blondie Chaplin. Viewers will also hear from the group’s Carl and Dennis Wilson and Ricky Fataar in their own words. The documentary is presented in HD with 5.1 surround audio and was directed by Frank Marshall.
This blu-ray contains over two hours of bonus material, including sixteen music videos which span the Beach Boys’ entire career along with several promotional TV appearances and behind the scenes interviews, trailers and footage from the World Premiere, held on May 22, 2024 in Hollywood, California at the legendary TCL Chinese Theater with all the band members present.
