Warmly inscribed to a WWII flyer, on the FFEP. Tight, flat, square, sharp, crisp and clean book in tattered DJ. Will provide a mylar jacket prior to ship. Illustrated by the author. Creamy white text block. The first book of a two volume set (second volume published in 1947).
Includes a great deal of material on the development of balloons, dirigibles and blimps--which were used extensively in WWI.
