This new old stock-testing Sylvania 5933WA / 5933 / 807W output tube was tested on my Maxi Matcher 2, with adapters, for shorts, gas and transconductance. There were no shorts or gas. Tubes were measured with 400 volts on the plates and a bias of -48 volts: 22 milliamps / 2490 micromhos (5933WA faintly still stenciled on glass with code 312M) New 5933s typically test from the mid teens to mid 30s with transconductance from 2200 micromhos Tube is tight on base with no debris or rattling sounds. Black plate and dual side D getters.
