From the designer and maker?s own website:
?An optimistic pin, a little flower struggling out of the winter doldrums into the light of Spring. The flower petals and container are in nickel which I textured. Then a silver wire stem, silver coiling leaf, and the silver and textured brass leaf with soldered together. Last, an 8mm hematite high domed cab was set. "Waiting to Grow on You" is about 2 1/2 inches (67mm) long by 1 1/2 inches wide (41mm). Pin has locking swivel catch.?
We purchased this pin along with many other boutique and artisan pieces at a recent estate sale.
Just a wonderful item and beautifully written description in the maker?s own words so we decided not to reinvent the wheel.
