Item description
WHO IS LEWIS PINDER?
By L.P. Davies.
Garden City, New York: Doubleday Company, Published for the Crime Club, 1966.
First American edition, first printing.
"First edition in the United States of America" statement to the copyright page, 1966 date printed to the title page, $3.95 to the jacket's flap.
Davies's second novel originally published in England in 1965 under the title MAN OUT OF NOWHERE.
Sergeant Roger Fenn follows the clues in this very suspenseful mystery.
L.P. Davies a highly acclaimed, edgy multi-genre author, had books adapted to film and television including for the movies 'Project X' and 'The Groundstar Conspiracy'.
Fine and very tight in gray linen with black titles and Crime Club gun-pointing insignia man to the spine, yellow headband and tail-band, deckle page fore-edges; in a very good dust jacket with some rubbing to the spine folds and flap folds, short tears and creases to the upper and lower spine edges; original printed $3.95 price still intact to the front inner flap.
The jacket will be placed in a quality Brodart brand, clear, removable protective sleeve, after photographing for this entry.
