Item description
MURDER STOPS THE CLOCK
by Craig Rice
Mystery Novel of the Month, 1941
First Paperback Edition
Condition: Good
Originally published in hardback as 8 FACES AT 3, this was Rice's first detective novel. It features her (Rice was actually a woman) series characters John J. Malone, Jake Justus and Helene Brand. This first digest-size paperback edition was published by Novel Selections, Inc. A spine slant, small writing on front cover and the kind of general exterior/interior wear common to 60-70 year old digests, though it's still survived better than many do.
