Illustrated with sketches and with a facsimile manuscript page of Goethe's bug, plant and morphology sketches with text.
A study with line and text examples in German and in English, that delve into plants, color theory, polarity, Eros, knowledge, and more.
Mild surface abrasions and shadows from former tape pieces to the front and rear end-sheets, else very good, firm, tight and probably unread in crisp beige linen with brown embossed titles to the spine; in a very nearly fine dust jacket with a short minor crimp to the lower front panel and a tiny tear to the upper edge of the rear panel; original printed $5.95 price still intact to the front inner flap.
Octavo; 149 pages plus introduction; bibliography; index.
