Item description
DEATH OF AN AD MAN
By Alfred Eichler.
New York: Abelard-Schuman, Inc, (1954).
First edition.
The third mystery featuring Inspector Knickman and Martin Ames is set in a advertising company workplace, and involves a murdered boss and various levels of ambitious employees.
Former owner's vintage inked name to the front end-paper, else very nearly fine, tight, and square in oatmeal colored linen boards with black embossed titles to the spine; in a very good dust jacket with very short tears and nicks to the upper and lower spine ends, some dots of foxing and a short soil-line to the rear panel, rubbing to the front spine fold and flap folds, minor crimps and a few tiny tears to the shelf-edges; original printed $2.50 price still intact to the front inner flap.
The dust jacket will be placed in a clear protective, removable sleeve after photographing for this entry.
