This gear FDM made out of Nylon - tough and flexible plastic
No lubrication required
Runs quieter and smoother than Zamak
Please clean existing metal gears out of chips or shavings in
the bottom of the gear train.
Please file off any lumps and sharp edges on the
steel gear.
Metal shards will impact nylon gears longevity
Only Nylons should be used for gears where a slippery surface is desired.
All other materials (PLA, ABC, PET, etc.) will grind creating a plastic dust and eventually fail!
