This limited edition model is part of the Supercar Raceway 1968 Hemi Barracuda Series and is a replica of the vehicle built and raced by Billy ?The Kid? Stepp in the NHRA Modified Production Class. With an unopened box and being one of only 626 produced, this collectible piece is suitable for adult collectors aged 17 years and up. The model is produced by ERTL / Highway 61 with the original box having light wear from storage as can be seen in my pictures. Bill Stepp always ran beautiful Mopar race cars that ran in various racing classes including super/ stock, modified production, and the new for 1970 the very popular Pro/ Stock racing class. He upgraded this Plymouth Barracuda to run in pro/ stock until his 1970 Dodge Challenger was built and tested to run in the new NHRA Pro/ Stock class. The car is beautiful and Bill always had the best of drivers driving his race cars. Always had his cars at the national tracks as well as on the match racing circuit around the country.
