Inscribed to myself John Anthony Miller and Kate Patch in 1988 with John Ball's personal chop and his Chinese writing in addition to his inscription. I was friends with this author and personally presented this book to him for the inscription at his home. Inscribed first edition copies of this title are notoriously difficult to encounter. Even John Ball had difficulty finding a first edition copy of ?In The Heat Of The Night.? Noted that this edition was also forbidden to be sold in the United States.
