4-Pcs Mountain Mahogany Cercocarpus Turning and 50 similar items

Listing #1. This is the first batch of this I?ve attempted selling. Im not sure if it is worth the extra work involved to cut this up for resale? This wood should be dry because it has been dead and standing for more years than I can remember but I waxed the ends after cutting it up to prevent further cracking. I open to and appreciate any information or advice anyone may have for me. I cut this from a dead, standing Mountain Mahogany tree on a private ranch in southern Idaho. It is extremely difficult to get lumber of any size without cracks, bug holes, etc. from this species. I use most of it for firewood but try to save the pieces that might be used to make beautiful things. I try really hard to cut out all of the cracks and bug holes but it is possible that it might have a few? I included pictures of the actual tree before cutting and the area it grew in. These trees are likely over 1,000 years old. They were the first trees in this area. They stabilize the ground so that maples are able to grow and then the maples choked them out. I am the only person that has ever cut wood on this ground. The rancher lets me cut the trees for firewood to clear the ground so grass will grow for his cattle and to keep the maples from soaking up all of the water from the springs.
