Item description
SoVintageous is offering this wonderful handmade Navajo sterling silver cuff bracelet with beautiful inlaid crushed Turquoise and Red Coral Peyote Birds, surrounded by various markings stamped in the silver. The Peyote, also known as snake bird or water turkey, is a symbol traditionally associated with the Native American Church and the use of peyote by the church members during rituals. One of the most popular methods used to depict the Peyote in jewelry is the "Chip Inlay" technique which is believed to have been invented in the 1960's by iconic Navajo silversmith/artist Tommy Singer. Pieces of stone chips (usually left over from other projects) are mixed with epoxy resin and inlaid in the jewelry. Once hardened, the piece is polished until smooth.
Handmade during the 1960's, this fabulous handmade vintage Navajo cuff bracelet has it's original patina and is in excellent vintage condition. On the small side, it would be best suited to someone with a small wrist, or a child.

As it is preferable to most vintage/antique jewelry collectors that older pieces maintain their patina I don't polish vintage/antique pieces. However, if you prefer to have the bracelet polished, please let me know and I will shine it up before I mail it to you.
It is extremely important to me that you are satisfied with your purchase, so, if the bracelet is not as described, please contact within 5 days of receipt (I cannot process a refund if you do not contact me prior to any return) and return it to me in the same condition as it was when I send it to you, and I will happily refund your payment, including original S amp;H.
As with any pre-owned items, there may be signs of age. I do my utmost to take and present photos that accurately depict the item for sale, including any blemishes/damage. If you have any questions prior to purchase, please let me know and I will get back to you asap. I cannot offer refunds for buyer's remorse, failure to read terms or descriptions, or for not asking questions not answered in the listing.
S amp;H charges for places outside of the 48 contiguous United States will be calculated based on the weight of the package.
I will always combine shipping costs whenever possible. Should the extra item not add to the cost, then there will not be any extra charge for combined shipping.
