Blue White Multi Strand Bead Flapper Tassel Necklace Vintage Barrel Beads Lg Egg Bead Tassel Gold Filigree Caps Long Fancy Costume Jewelry. Here is a beautiful multi strand beaded necklace done in the long flapper style and very fancy. It is a piece from my Grandmother's estate jewelry collection and is in excellent new condition. The beads are made of a hard plastic type and the large egg pendant is made of Lucite I think. They are capped by beautifully done goldtone filigree caps which adds interest and beauty to the piece. It is very long, and has 3 strands on each side (2 white and 1 blue). They can be worn in a twisted fashion or just straight as seen in the pictures. There are 10 strands hanging from the tassel that are 4" long. The strands on top are 12" long on each side and have a round spring type safety clasp and hooked with a ring per strand together on the end allowing for the twisting of the beads. The tassel beads are hung from the gold filigree cap on the bottom of the egg pendant with gold finding per each strand. The necklace altogether is 18-1/2" long from the closure to the end of the tassel strand. The egg type pendant is 3-1/2" in diameter and 2" tall. A very unique and lovely piece that can be worn any time. This would make a wonderful gift for the jewelry lover or for yourself.
