Belle of India has double blooms flowers of rich fragrance on woody vining shrubs with wide oval dark green leaves; considered the easiest to bloom indoors since it can tolerate shady conditions. Moderate growing mound - the upright sun to light shade. Prefers warmth. Belle of India has round white extremely fragrant white single flowers which are borne in profusion. It flowers from the tips, every 30-40 days, depending on the temperature. The hotter the better; Keep moderately moist-easy care house plant. Needs fertilizer regularly. You will discover that the clarity and sweetness of the fragrance of this jasmine are unrivaled. This bushy compact plant does particularly well on windowsills but requires frequent pruning to keep the shape. In Asia, the flower is used in teas, decorations, weddings, and religious ceremonies. Min. temperature is 60 F. Ever bloomer! Sambac blooms all year long in the greenhouse or in your home We collect the flowers for our morning and evening jasmine tea!
