Mexican Silver Amethyst Bracelet Brooch and 50 similar items

An exquisite silver and amethyst parure hand wrought in a beautiful art deco design in Mexico spanning three decades. Vintage late 1940s to early 1950s, the magnificent bracelet consists of ten pin-hinged panels of two designs. Five panels of this luscious piece are large silver triple demi-spheres. and five gorgeous polished, oval amethyst cabochons. The amethysts are bezel set in a silver twisted rope framing accented with four small demi-spheres. The box clasp is very secure and all of the hinges function well. This beautiful bracelet is 7-1/4" long. The sphere panels are 1/2" by 1-3/8" each. The amethyst panels are 7/8" by 1" each with the amethysts measuring 1/4" deep. Weighs 67.6 grams. The amethysts are all smooth to the touch with no chips or cracks, only natural inclusions. This piece is in excellent vintage condition. Hallmarked "STERLING MEXICO" by Melesio Rodriguez who worked with Margot van Voorhies, later known as Margot de Taxco. Vintage 1930s, this stunning brooch is an art deco leaf pattern with two full spheres at the base of each leaf. These leaves support a bezel set oval polished amethyst cabochon. The brooch measures 3-1/2" by 1-1/8" and weighs 28 grams. For it's vintage it is in superior condition. A pin and C-clasp hold securely. The artist of this beautiful work is unknown, but the piece is marked "MEXICO SILVER". Presumed vintage 1940s, the earrings are also a leaf and sphere design. Each earring measures 3/4" with the round bezel set polished amethyst cabochon measuring 1/4" across. The screw backs work smoothly. The pieces are marked "MEXICO SILVER" surrounding a stamped star, which has eluded maker identification. Total weight of both earrings is 9.3 grams. Although made by different artisans, in different decades, and different locations, these pieces were purchased as a set and will be sold only as a set. PLEASE NOTE: Vintage Mexican silver is hand made and therefore, not perfect. Each piece will have variances and possible tiny flaws that indicate that they are individually hand made. At their age of 70 to 90 years, they may show minor signs of wear, but these pieces have been gently worn and carefully stored. These items have been described to the best of my ability with the extensive research it took to identify their origins. Any damage has been noted.
