Item description
Vintage 8x10 in. US single-weight glossy copy photograph (not a vintage original photo printed at the time it was taken) from the popular silent film adventure drama/romance, THE EAGLE, released in 1925 by United Artists and directed by Clarence Brown. A wanted Russian lieutenant (Rudolph Valentino) becomes
a masked vigilante seeking vengeance upon the man (James A Marcus) who stole
his family's land, only to fall for his charming daughter (Vilma Banky).
The image features an exterior close shot of pretty Mascha Troekouroff (Vilma Banky) as she has an encounter with The Black Eagle (Rudolph Valentino) in a forest setting. This vintage copy photograph, which was most likely printed in the 1930's, is in very fine- condition with several light creases in the right half of the top border and light signs of wear on the tip of the other corners. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws and the image quality is razor-sharp with fine detail and beautiful contrast.
