This is a Civil War / reenactment Renaissance Chemise style dress that is a wash and wear cotton blend designed for your comfort and style you want at the faire or outdoor reenactment event. Is a standard chemise style dress or under dress in the A line style, from the bust size the dress is usually about 2-3 times the measurement at the hemline around. Easy to wear under a dress or by itself. The hand crocheted belt with brooch (See close up of brooch) fits the dress to you size when use. If unsure send me your bust size and height so I can ensure you will enjoy the chemise style. Is not as bright as picture shows. Is a standard navy blue. Sleeves to elbow (3/4) sleeves. Can be on or off the shoulders! . This is a small, med, to a large and will fit a wide range of measurements as the dress belt fits the dress to your waistline... - The bust of the dress fits as large as 54" and as small as a 34" bust. -The hemline flares to full 135" . Great with or without a hoop slip. (now is over a small hoop slip, not included) -The length is 54 - 59" from shoulder to hem and hangs nicely to floor. Hem is double and sewn so will be easy for you to hem to your exact measurement. -Elastic (can be adjusted to raise or lower hem by 6 inches) across the entire rounded top so can wear longer or shorter - wear on shoulder or slightly off. .
