Nice Vintage Milk Glass Candlewick Desk Lamp, Milk Glass Hobnail Shade VGC Description You are bidding on this nice vintage milk glass candlewick desk lamp, with milk glass hobnail shade. It is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks, and the lamp works great too. It is very dusty and needs to be cleaned up a bit, and there are some flea bites around the base rim of the chimney shade. The metal portions of the lamp are made to look like brass but are actually a gold tone high quality tin, and are quite rusty. Some CLR cleaner should clean up the rust and the gold color could possibly be repainted. I am unsure of the age or origins of the lamp. It is 13.5" tall including the shade. The base of the lamp is 6" in diameter. It is a very nice vintage table lamp, and a wonderful collectors item as well.
