Item description
Brand new factory sealed vhs tape filmed in glorious Black White is Out Of Print in all formats and no longer being manufactured.
A wonderful, fast-paced ghoulish comedy starring a manic Cary Grant as Mortimer Brewster, a drama critic. He plans to marry Priscilla Lane but discovers that his kindly old aunts in Brooklyn have been poisoning lonely old men and having them buried in the basement by his uncle who thinks he's Teddy Roosevelt digging the Panama Canal.
His brother, the long-lost Jonathan (Raymond Massey), shows up with the drunken Dr. Einstein (Peter Lorre). Jonathan is hiding from the law and, thanks to Lorre's inept plastic surgery, "looks like Boris Karloff". In the end Mortimer is relieved to discover he was adopted. Directed by Frank Capra ('It's a Wonderful Life') who keeps the action and hilarity moving at a head-spinning pace.
