Item description
Vintage original 8x10 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the classic 1930's western drama, TEXAS PIONEERS, released in 1932 by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) and directed by Harry L. Fraser. In order to find out who is smuggling guns to the Indians, an army officer pretends to have been demoted and hold a grudge against the army, hoping that the smugglers will try to contact him and take him into their gang. The cast includes Bill Cody, Andy Shuford, LeRoy Mason, Sheila Bromley, Chief Standing Bear, and Iron Eyes Cody.
The image features an exterior shot inside of a fort as Captain Bill Clyde engages in a life-and-death struggle with Mark Collins (LeRoy Mason) with three dead men around them. It is in fine- condition with three pinholes in the top border and two in the bottom border and a 5 in. horizontal crease in the bottom border at the right corner.
