Cosmopolitan Book Corp., First Edition, 1922
Condition: Good+
A prolific author, many of whose books were adapted into movies, Kyne's series about a feisty but warm-hearted sea captain were among his most popular novels. Cappy Ricks Retires was the second of the series. Four full-page illustrations by T.D. Skidmore. 442 pages. Spine and front cover are rather faded; modest spine end and light corner fraying; light front coverr spot; binding somewhat shaken with webbing visible in 2 or 3 places, but hinges and all pages are intact; brief inscription (dated 1922), bookstore stamp and price label on front flyleaf, bookstore label on back pastedown. No dust jacket.
