if you after installation stuck with 640x480 resolution, just go to Control panel- System- hardware- devise manager-and update the video driver. The software work perfect for a new install in my PC.

Windows 8.1 is a great Operating System (OS). I am a computer user/builder with a great deal of experience and find this OS to be a very stable, easy and fast to install. It is very much like Windows 10. So far there have been no surprises or regrets before, during or after the purchase process, nor has there been any concerns after the installation. It would be a great way to introduce new users to windows 10 and the tile vs. icon concept that seems to be the new standard.
My Windows XP had crashed and of course Microsoft no longer supports it. The product worked perfectly and the instructions included were great and easy to understand.
If you need to have a operable Windows XP this is the place to go!!

Windows 8.1 kept restarting for over a month. This disk let me know that my hard drive had locked me out. The boot disk allowed me to get into safe mode and save my work, photos, etc. and I was able to get in and fix the problem. Great product. It did what it said it would do.
