This was exactly what I needed.

Pros:
> Great overall sound
> Up to 30 hrs. battery life on a 3 hr. charge
> Comfortable enough to wear for 2 hours or more
> 3 noise cancelling modes
> Equalizer and sound enhancements with the Sony Headphones Connect app
> Gesture volume and track control
> Nice matching case with accessories

Cons:
> The color is "Platinum Silver" (mostly platinum, little silver), as shown on the box, despite all the pictures you see
> 360 Reality Audio requires a subscription to certain premium streaming services

This is the XM3. I later read the XM$ can be paired to more than one device. I would like that but it isn't what I was looking for when I made purchase.

Bought for long Airplane trips. They connected easily and have a nice app for settings. Noise canceling seems to work well. Haven’t tested on a plane yet.
