I wanted a small, portable hot water pot for travel so I could make tea in my hotel room. (I hate using the hotel coffee makers because the hot water always has a residual coffee taste). This pot was perfect and worked great on our recent trip. I also researched other brands online, but most of them had bad reviews stating poor long term quality. I am a huge fan of the Zojirushi brand for other small appliances, so I'm so happy to have found that they make this small hot water maker. Great little product!
