I am a professional paying member of PCGS (Professional Coin Grading Service), NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Corporation), PMG (Professional Money Guaranty) for paper currency and ANACS (American Numismatic Association Certification Service).
I buy and sell coins only. I do not deal antiques, records, dolls, musical instruments, old drink bottles, dishes, pottery, and other collectibles, etc. that have coins as a side along with them. My expertise is in one area and I feel I can provide a much better product that way.
Never buy most toned coins unless they are certified by NGC, PCGS or ANACS as the brighter the toning the more likely it is a fake toning that destroys the value of the coin. Most every one of the brightly toned coins that are not graded by the three major coin certification services are fake toned. There are even some new unheard of companies that will certified toned fakes but unless NGC, PCGS and ANACS stay away.
Welcome and many thanks to all of you who visit my site. I submit information under each of my offerings in order to educate if needed, especially novice collectors/buyers who may need advice like current market price, lists of the products I am selling, pitfalls in coin buying, how to avoid cleaned or altered coins, poor coin investments, etc. Hopefully, I can help assist novice or any buyer from the pitfalls I have learned over 58 years as a collector and 51 years as a buyer and seller.
