Item description
Brand new factory sealed dvd is the original Sony brand release. This has an optional running commentary with Carrie Fisher and bonus previews. The 25th Anniversary edition from Mill Creek is a no frills version.
Fisher adapted her best-selling novel, tamed and tempered, for the big screen with a tour-de-force of talent. Streep is very fine as a delightfully harried actress struggling with her career, her drug dependence, and her competitive, overwhelming show-biz mother. Autobiographical script is bitingly clever and filled with refreshingly witty dialogue. Lots of cameos by Hollywood's hippest.
