It is a stunning pastel blue opalescent color with fusion of white designed into the glass; and it is a handblown hobnail display vase. This piece is not marked. There are no evident chips, cracks or repairs on this vase. Measures approx 4 1/4" tall and 5 1/2" around the top. Add this one to your rare collection of vintage Duncan Miller Glass art. DUNCAN MILLER The goal to establish a museum to preserve the rich history of Duncan and Miller Glass to house a permanent exhibit was realized in 1992 when the Society purchased an old building on Jefferson Ave. in Washington, PA not far from where the Duncan and Miller factory once stood. Local members worked tirelessly to remodel and upgrade the site. The museum opened on July 8, 1993. Today, the members are proud of the museum and the stunning collection of glassware displayed there. The generosity of the local collectors and enthusiasts from across the country, and acquisitions made by the Society, continually add to the collection which includes not only glassware, but glassmaking tools, molds and memorabilia. The Duncan and Miller Glass Museum is a fascinating piece of American history.
