This wooden sculpture of a man playing the drum is very good to excellent pre-owned condition. We have no information about the making or derivation of this piece - except that the name MERISE is etched into the bottom of the base - and this is not our area of expertise. (We do welcome input from the community.) We believe it may be Haitian or African made. The wood is fairly light in color and does not have a smooth finish. It weighs 6.2 ounces. The piece measures approximately 10.75" tall and the base measures 3.25" x 2. This is a lovely and interesting piece to add to your collection! International Buyers ?
