Rare gorgeous necklace! Two strands of lustrous saltwater baroque pearls set with big clasp which set with a beautiful fiery solid Australian opal! the pearls are Baroque South Sea and approx 9-10mm on average (see photos please). the opal is approx 15x11mm! multi prong set - which us great to protect the gem from all if the sides! the clasp is 17.8x14mm approx - really as substantial ring would be!. the necklace approx 14.8? when clasped- please see photos near ruler and how it looks when worn. the opal has neon fiery patterns all through(no empty dull areas - all translucent :please see photo against light!) - sorry could not capture well how fiery it is and all of the colors - simply opals are very hard to photograph because they change color all the time depending on the light. the insertion part of the clasp has an opening for the safety chain - it can be added if desired.
