The outside is decorated with entwined Guacamayo Feather, Huayruro Seed Beads with a wooden core. The Aya vine piece comes from the vine of the plant called "Flor de Aya" or "Flower of the Aya," due to its flower-like pattern inside. The Aya is coated in a resin to enhance its pattern and natural colors. This is an incredibly sacred plant of the Amazon, used by indigenous peoples in their ceremonies of healing (both physical spiritual) and connection with Mother Nature | Pacha Mama.
