We used fiberglass to make the seat for Highness as it would increase the life of the seat base and simultaneously it would have rust issues like the metal base has. Foam: The main cushion used is made in HD. According to our R D team, HD foams are best for touring. Hence, we have used the same for this seat. Seat Cover: The seat cover material used for this seat has a cotton-coated backing to increase its life even more. The quality of the material is way higher than the usual one. Overall: The seat has good tail bone support for both rider and pillion to make them feel comfortable during long rides. The seat is slightly lengthier than the stock long seat to give some extra space for the Pillion rider. The seat is water-resistant. Though there is a plastic layer in the seat to stop water from getting through. There are possibilities of water letting in during heavy rain. However, nothing to worry about anything getting damaged. Installation: The procedure to install the seat is quite similar when compared with the stock seat. Here the only change is the lock clamp. Remove the lock clamp of your stock seat and use the same on our seat. You would not be provided any lock clamp along with the seat. Note: The seat will touch the Handle Grab Rail which is provided with the single long seat. However, there will be 2 Inches Gap if used with Split Seat.
