Item description
1lb Ginger Root: Fresh, Whole, Raw, Organic, NON-GMO Fresh Harvest
(Eat or Grow)
FRESHLY HARVESTED GINGER ROOT
(Best Price on ALL of)
You are purchasing 1 Pound of Ginger roots/rhizomes that you can plant. (1 Pound is what is shown in the pictures, approximately)
Ready to eat or plant. Easy to grow!
If you are planting, do NOT wash off the light dirt left on the root as this will begin the curing and dormancy process. Simply place the root 1/2" in good quality organic dirt and water lightly each day.
If you are going to consume the Ginger root, then wash thoroughly as with ALL produce.
SEE OUR OTHER LISTING IF YOU NEED TURMERIC.
Ginger Rhizome Planting
1. Use good quality Organic Compost (buy at big box store, Lowes, Home Depot or Garden Center or PREFERABLY BUY Locally)
2. Ginger Grows Great in Pots or Containers Too!
3. Simply fill the container with Organic Compost and then push Ginger 1/2? below the surface, water in and water lightly daily.
4. If you plant late fall or winter, you must keep the turmeric warm (70 Degrees Fahrenheit) or it will lay dormant until spring.
5. Why pay up to $20 or more a pound at Health Food Stores when you can easily grow your own healthy Ginger?
Watch this YouTube video to learn how to plant your Ginger in containers. https://youtu.be/3KwlkuqEYt4
