Best Loved Mexican Star Quilt Flexible Plastic Template Pattern This is a 1993 Best Loved Quilt Pattern called "Mexican Star". Mexican Star is one of several quilt patterns with names commemorating the Mexican War of 1846-1847. This war between the United States and Mexico resulted from the U.S. annexation of Texas in 1845. When the treaty was signed in 1848, the U.S. had gained all Mexican territory north of the Rio Grande River from Texas to the Pacific Ocean. Finished block size is 14-1/2" x 14-1/2", full size quilt is 73" x 88", king size is 88" x 108-1/2". Included is a new flexible plastic template and contains complete color photos and directions. This flexible plastic template is not made for rotary cutters. Each pattern is enclosed in a plastic sleeve so you can store your pattern template. NOTE!! These are PATTERNS only not the finished product nor the materials to complete the projects. My items are shipped from Canada and I use Canada Post - we do not have a media rate or first class shipping as in the US. Canada Post charges by the size and weight of the items. When you receive your parcel, shipping costs do not reflect the 15% HST we have to pay in Nova Scotia on stamps.
