Vintage 5-Drink 'Mixologist' Measuring Glass For Small Gatherings---This is a piece of history. Back in the good old days when it was fashionable to have friends over for a game of cards or even a black and white TV show it was customary for the hosts to offer mixed drinks. This glass made that a simple chore.
The glass was made for mixing drinks popular in the era. Five different recipes were provided for these drinks:
Martini
The Bronx
Manhattan
Daiquiri
Orange Blossom
By pouring the alcohol and ingredients to the marked lines you would make four drinks for the particular recipe.Then you would pour into the drinking glass and add ice if needed. The tapered glass is 5.5 in tall and measures 3-1/2 inwide at the mouth and 2-1/4 in and the bottom. It weighs 15 ounces.
