Item description
Coffee or smoking table attributed to Gio Ponti, Italy, 1950s. This table exudes a luxuriant light, given by the perfect combination of wood and glass, that has been fundamental in Gio Ponti's design. This table is perfect for a living room or any space.
Gio Ponti (1891-1979) was trained as an architect but was also a poet, a painter, a designer of exhibitions, glass, lightning and of course furniture. He is perhaps most known for being one of the architects of the Pirelli tower in Milan, at one time the tallest building in Europe. But above all, Ponti was responsible for the renewal of Italian architect and decorative arts during the 20th century.
Measures 30" high and 32" diameter.
The bottom shelf measures 20" in diameter.
