Item description
This black glass plate is hand painted in white paint and signed "E. H. Brown 1970." This is the "Mary Gregory" style of painting (although no such person existed). The scene is of a boy and his dog, fishing. The plate is marked on the back with Westmoreland's W over G mark. The lacy border has three rows of pretty forget-me-not flowers.
This plate is 8 1/2 inches in diameter and has no damage. It weighs 1 pound and 5.5 ounces before being packed for shipping. The black glass is glossy and completely black. (The cloudy appearance in my last photo is reflections. The glass is highly reflective.) It will be very carefully packed for safe delivery to you.
This will be shipped by either UPS Ground or USPS Ground Advantage rate (except for International). Local delivery is always available for free to a mutually agreed upon meeting place. This cannot be shipped by UPS to a post office box. Please contact me before purchase, if you need to have it shipped to a PO Box.
