Item description
1 Sweetbay Magnolia Tree (Laurel, Swamp) 2-3 ft in Gallon Pot, Zones 5-10
You are purchasing 1 Sweetbay Magnolia in a gallon pot, 2-3 feet tall. Also known as Swamp Magnolia or Laurel Magnolia, this tree is native to the southeastern U.S. and extends north to New York along the Atlantic coast. It features oblong, shiny green leaves with a silvery underside. The foliage is evergreen to semi-evergreen in southern regions but becomes deciduous in northern climates. It makes an excellent specimen tree for lawns or can be grown as a tall multi-stemmed shrub for borders. Ideal for foundation plantings, patios, or woodland areas, it thrives in wet soils, such as those found in low spots or near streams. It produces fragrant white flowers from late May to early June, reaching heights of up to 30 feet and spreads of 10-30 feet. Hardy in zones 5-10. Planting instructions are included with every order. Note: We do not ship to Puerto Rico, HI, or AK.
