About this item
ELM327 is a detection tool, based on OBD2 diagnostic protocols. Self-diagnostic system, easy to use, with the free software program or app for your Smartphone or Computer. The operation of the software is easy to learn. The software is compatible with Android, iPhone operating systems as well as DOS and Windows computers.
Read fault code and know fault code meaning, clear car fault code, display sensor data (including: engine speed, coolant temperature, vehicle speed, intake manifold pressure, air temperature intake pressure, air flow rate, throttle position, oxygen sensor voltage, fuel pressure, etc.) and there are also other more advanced features.
IPHONE INSTRUCTIONS: Apple's iOS compatibility only supports Bluetooth 4.0 (LE) adapters, such as our product. Older Bluetooth adapters are not supported. In the app you use, make sure to select in settings, "Connection type": Bluetooth 4.0 (LE). In case you don't do this setting, the scanner may not connect with your Iphone device.
Regularly NOT compatible for electric, hybrid and some diesel vehicles. FUNCTIONS- It does not use batteries since it is powered when connected to your car.- Use it when the "Check Engine" symbol or any warning light appears on the dashboard of your car and detects the anomaly in seconds
In the app it shows Fault Codes - Explains possible solutions - Once resolved, you can clear the error codes and the "check engine" light (this covers engine, power platform, emission errors)
Works to read generic and also manufacturer specific codes, displays their meaning - Displays data from sensors (including: engine speed, coolant temperature, vehicle speed, intake manifold pressure, intake air temperature, flow rate of air, throttle position, oxygen sensor voltage, fuel pressure, etc.)
