Item description
Spoon is 5.5 inches long and weighs 36.7 grams. Two lady bugs are enameled onto the top of the spoon.
Unique in that it was apparently retailed by Saks Fifth Avenue. When is anybody?s guess as the company A. Dragsted is still in business today as is Saks Fifth Avenue.
Even better, we have the same spoon with enameled butterflies also in our store. We decided to list them separately but will happily combine shipping if you want both - and both are still available.
We did a great deal of research trying to obtain more information on when they might have been sold at Saks but kept getting dead ends. We do think these might have been sold as a set of six or twelve originally. We did find some info on A Dragsted courtesy of Wikipedia:
Arent Nicolai Dragsted (9 June 1821 ? 15 August 1898) was a Danish goldsmith based in Copenhagen who was granted the predicate Purveyor to the Court of Denmark shortly before his death. His company, A. Dragsted, still exists today.
Will ship USPS with tracking to winning buyer
