Antique vintage Chinese embroidered coat made of a black silk satin fabric. There are a variety of colorful flower roundel medallions, butterflies, and roses, moths and bats embroidered throughout. The coat has more embroidery around the neck, sleeve cuffs, front opening, The lower Lishui border is embroidered with diagonal bands and rounded billows representing a sea-wave with water and rocks on the center symbolizing the earth mountain, in metallic gold or bronze. The hand embroidery is stunning. It is one of a kind. The border is all in perfect condition. This fabulous coat style robe has a round neck, front closure fastened with black silk loop toggles.
