Vintage Iridescent Amber Carnival Glass Diamond Shaped Footed Candy Dish MCM Collectible Glassware Trinket Dish Diamond Shape 1960's. Approximate measurements are: 3" Tall x 6 1/4" Long x 4 1/2" Wide. This beautiful Carnival Glass Dish is Made by- Indiana Glass Co was approximately Circa 1960's. It is an Amber/ Orange/ Peach color- depends on the light that hits it- with a Prism like quality. The outside and inside of the dish are covered with iridescent glaze embossed floral pattern all over except around the pedestal. This type of small footed dish is called a "compote" and was traditionally used to serve fruit. More modern uses include nut dish, candy dish, candle holder, trinket holder (keys, etc...), flower bowl, etc.- your only limitation is your imagination. This Charming bowl will be the Statement Piece of your Home no matter where you put it. Condition is preowned with no chips, cracks or cloudiness.
