This unique and charming handcrafted house is the perfect addition to any crafting project. This was originally was handmade by a local artisan couple. Painting was started, but not finished, so it is ready for another artist's touch. The box was originally made to hold recipes. Classic index cards (5 x 3 inches) will fit inside, and there is a little rim on the roof to place the index card for display. (see photos) Ideas might be to paint or decorate with decals or rub-on designs, then place cards inside that display motivational sayings, Bible verses, word of the day, or important quotes from famous people, etc. Take a different card out every day and display it on the roof. Great gift for a teacher, a home school family, a business, or anyone! Or use simply as a trinket box, jewelry box, stationery holder, etc. Size: 5-1/4 inches tall x 6-3/8 inches long x 5-1/4 inches wide; a standard index card is 5 x 3 inches.
